Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

Photography and Video Recordings. As part of our local and brand marketing activities, from time to time we may be filming or taking photographs of happy guests enjoying their visits to our tea room, when filming or taking photos for a particular campaign, we will display a prominent poster to confirm that filming and photos will be taken in the tea room. A member of staff will notify everyone when photos or filming are likely to occur and you can request to be excluded or have your identity obscured.

NHS Track & Trace. NHS Test and Trace is a key part of the UK’s ongoing COVID-19 response. To support this service, we need to keep a record of our staff, customers and visitors for a minimum of 21 days and to assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data if needed. This could help contain clusters or outbreaks. If required, we will share the following information with NHS Test and Trace, either if we already collect this information for ordinary business purposes or if we collect it when you attend our premises: name (If there is more than one person, the name of the ‘lead member’ and the number of people in the group), contact phone number, date, arrival time and, where possible, departure time. The Legislation allows us to process this information from our staff, customers and visitors and share it with NHS Test and Trace to help minimise the transmission of COVID-19 and support public health and safety. Where personal data is collected specifically for NHS Test and Trace, it will not be used for any other purposes (e.g. marketing) and we will hold it for no longer than is necessary. All personal data captured will be held securely, with restricted access. If you would like to know more, please ask a member of staff for assistance.
