About Us
December 2022
Introducing your new owners, we are Emily and Hannah, sisters who grew up in Worcestershire. Emily now lives in Bromsgrove with her husband and teenage daughter and son, while Hannah is based in Droitwich with her husband and two baby daughters.
Emily has left her teaching job to come and be the new face of Chataways, whilst Hannah is currently on maternity leave from her NHS job having given birth to her youngest daughter in September.
We are so excited about our new adventure and can’t wait to welcome customers old and new to Chataways.
Both of us are keen bakers and you will be able to sample our homemade cakes daily when you visit us. We are passionate about giving a friendly experience for a light lunch, coffee and cake or an afternoon tea.
Chataways History
July 2018
When we opened in July 2018, Chataways Tea Room seated just 12 customers! Specialising in afternoon teas and themed afternoon tea parties our reputation for delicious handmade food and our friendly welcome helped our small family business grow.
April 2020
In 2020 we began offering takeaway afternoon teas and cream teas for delivery in the local area, increased our indoor capacity, and added a shop to the tea room which features products from local crafters.
February 2021
Due to demand for our delicious homemade scones we expanded further by offering our products nationwide and we now ship our freshly packed afternoon teas and cream teas all over the UK!

May 2021
We re-opened after the third national lockdown and put everything we had into growing Chataways following a very tough year for the hospitality industry, but a year that saw us go from strength-to-strength.

July 2021
We re-launched our party packages for birthdays, events & celebrations.
