Event Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT
A £50 reservation fee is required to secure the date and time of your event. The balance is then payable 14 days in advance of the event. Payment of the reservation fee is deemed as acceptance of Chataways’ Terms & Conditions as outlined in this document.

EVENTS
We love welcoming everyone to Chataways and really enjoy hosting an event that we want you to remember forever.
​
ADDITIONAL EXTRAS
We have a range of add-on services available for hire/purchase, including a party host who will run games for you, a photo easel, balloon arches, alcohol, etc (see the sheet above for details and prices). Please note that some of the add-ons have time restrictions on them and you will therefore need to order them as far ahead of the event as possible.

NUMBERS
Our standard event package is for up to 16 guests, although we can accommodate up to 20/24 guests.
​
TIMING
The doors will open for you ten minutes before the start time of the party, by which time everything will be in place ready to start welcoming your guests. The door will open for your guests at the start-time of the party.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please let us know ASAP if you have any specific dietary requirements (i.e. vegetarian). Please note that there may be an additional cost for specific dietary requirements such as gluten-free, etc.

CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT
If for any reason you need to cancel or postpone the party, please let us know ASAP. If the cancellation is received more than 21 days ahead of the party, you will receive a £25 refund of your reservation fee. Regrettably, we will need to retain the full reservation fee in respect of a party which is cancelled with less than 21 days to go until the day of the party. We are unable to provide any refunds on final balance payments with 14 days or less remaining until the event. We are unable to provide any refunds where an event is cancelled due to the implementation of national restrictions (such as social distancing or national lockdowns), if an alternative date can be provided the reservation fee will transferred to the new date.

ALCOHOL
You are very welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks to the event as we do not currently serve them at Chataways, and we will not charge a corkage fee. Alternatively, we can provide alcoholic drinks - see the Additional Extras sheet above.

LOCATION
Chataways Tea Room is located at The Barns Rural Business Park. We are just outside the centre of Tardebigge, opposite the white lodges at the entrance to the Hewell Grange estate. If you are driving to Tardebigge from Redditch, go down Hewell Lane, past The Tardebigge pub, go straight ahead at the junction for Finstall (just after The Tardebigge Pub) and head out towards Burcot. The Barns rural Business Park is located a few hundred meters further down the road, on the left-hand-side.

COPYCAST STUDIOS
Copycast Studios is our sister company and we are therefore delighted to offer you 15% discount against products and experience packs/gift-vouchers. Our baby casting kits/baby-bump casting kits, Flumpf kits, etc, are great gift ideas for baby showers, Christening parties, birthday parties, etc. Our fantastic range of frames are also a beautiful addition to any home. We will provide you with a code (that is unique to your event), that can be shared with your guests and redeemed against the products on the Copycast Studios website once the reservation fee has been received.
